Weggli er meget populeært i Sveits, de passer godt til frokost. I Sveits spiser vi de ofte med et "Schoggistängeli" (rund, 15 cm lang sjokolade) i midten.
Vi, hjemme hos oss spiser de ofte til søndagsfrokosten, det som er fin med de er at det også er grovt mel inni. De er da litt sunt med andre ord. Jeg elsker å spise de med ekte smør som feks Røros smør og godt honning.
Jeg holder på med Weggli akkurat nå
man tager....
for 7 stykker a 80 gram
- 125 samalt hvete fint
- 250 gram fint hvetemel eller sikted spelt mel
- 1 ts salt
- 10 gram gjær
- 1/2 spiseskje honning
- 15 gram ekte smør
- 2 dl melkevann (1/2 melk, 1/2 vann)
- 1 eggplomme
og sånn gjør du:
- Gjær løses opp i lunket melkevann og blandes med melet.
- Bland inn salt, honning, smør og elt alt sammen
- Heves tildekket til dobbelt størrelse
- Del deigen i 8 porsjoner
- From deigene til runde baller og pensle knust eggeplomme på
- Bruk et omvendt kniv og trykk den dyp tvers gjennom deigen, resultatet blir som på bildet
- Weggli heves enda 20-40 minutter
- Stek 20 minutter i midten av den 200 grader varme stekeovn
Gjerne flerdobbel deigen og frys det som er til overs.
